GMS PTA Staff Dinner for Parent-Teacher Conferences

Please help treat our wonderful GMS staff to dinner during parent teacher conferences. Sign up to help or  to donate the items below.  All items can be dropped at GMS by 3:00 pm on Monday, November 12.  Thank you for your support!

GMS Parent Conferences

Monday, November 12 from 1:00-7:00 pm. No appointment is necessary. Feel free to visit during a time that works for you and your family! Conferences will be limited to 10 minutes per teacher.

Viking Warrior Turkey Trot

GMS is hosting its first Vikings Warrior Turkey Trot.  The event will be held on Tuesday, November 13th.  The different grade levels will be racing at different times. There will be a winner at each grade level who will receive a turkey!  Shirts are on sale for $10.00.  If you want a T-shirt, please return the order form to Ms. Larcamp no later than Nov. 7th! The schedule for that day as well as the order form can be found on the GMS website.

Soccer News

Congratulations to our top two GMS Soccer teams, FC Ajax and Chelsea FC on their tie for first in the GMS World Cup! Our top two teams will move on to the final tournament vs. Redland Middle School. The final tournament will be held next Tuesday, November 13th after school.

Basketball Tryouts

If you are interested in trying out for the boys or girl’s basketball team here at GMS, there is an informational meeting on Friday during Viking Time 6. Be there to receive the necessary forms you need to try out. Meet in the cafeteria.

NJHS

There will be a NJHS Meeting during Viking Time 6 today Friday in Ms. Guthrie's room.

7th Grade Peer Leaders

GMStrong 7th grade peer leaders are meeting today during Viking Time 6 in the café.

SGA

The next SGA meeting will be held after school today Friday, November 9th from 3:20-4:20 pm. Please see Ms. Mesina if you are not able to make it.

Fudraiser Items

Fundraiser items will arrive the week of November 12th. We will send another message with information on when items will be sent home. Thank you to everyone that participated in the school-wide fundraiser.

Overdue Books

Please return all overdue library books as soon as possible. All overdue books that were due by October 31 will receive an obligation next week.
